A Christmas Gift from God

God's Gift_SQR

The following Gospel presentation is a recreation of a Gospel tract, which is available to you at the bottom of this page.

Christmas is a season for giving.

There is no greater gift than what God gave the world:

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.John 3:16

This great Bible verse reveals three truths from the heart of God about His Christmas gift to the world.

god loves you!

You can know this is true because the Lord Jesus said,

‘’For God so loved the world...”

You are a part of this world, God loves YOU, and He wants YOU to:  “...know the love of Christ...” (Ephesians 3:19)

However, to fully understand God’s amazing love, you must recognize who you are before God.

We can all agree that the world we live in is broken. It is broken because of sin. In the Bible, God teaches us two things about sin.

First, everyone is a sinner:

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23)

Next, the Bible tells us that sin has a penalty. Sin must be paid for:

“For the wages of sin is death...” (Romans 6:23)

Because of sin and the penalty of sin, you may be asking yourself, “Why would God love me?”

God loves YOU because:

You Are of Worth!

Not only does God want you to understand that He loves you, He also wants you to know that YOU are of worth to Him!

In fact, YOU are so dear to God that:

“...He gave His only begotten Son...”

Not only did God say that He loves YOU, He demonstrated His love!

To show His love for YOU and your worth to Him, God sent His Son to die in YOUR place.

I Corinthians 15:3 tells us that:

“Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures’’

Yes! God’s Son, the Lord Jesus, died on the cross to pay YOUR sin debt in full! He loves YOU and gave Himself as payment for YOUR sin.

You may ask, “How can God forgive my sin?”

He can because of what Jesus did!

II Corinthians 5:21 says:

“He hath made Him to be sin for us...”

The Bible also says in Romans 5:8:

“...While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us”

you can have hope!

Yes, God loves YOU, and YOU are of great worth. But, God also wants to give YOU hope.

We know this because:

“...whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Jesus brings hope!

Despite the sin in this broken world, God displayed His love for us all through His Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus paid the penalty of sin and gives hope to all who believe on Him.

Jesus says in John 10:10:

“I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly’’

God’s Gift for you is through Jesus, His death on the Cross, and His resurrection.

Romans 6:23 reveals to us:

“...the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

In a world where so many have lost hope, God wants YOU to know the Lord Jesus – He is YOUR hope!

Jesus confirms this in John 16:33:

“...in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

God has a wonderful Christmas Gift for YOU, but will you receive it?

1 John 5:11-12 makes it very plain:

“...God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.”

your invitation!

You may be asking, “How can I receive God’s Christmas Gift?”

1. Acknowledge“I AM a sinner.”

Romans 3:23 tells us that:

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God”

2. Believe“Jesus died for ME.”

Because 1 Corinthians 15:3 tells us:

“...Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures”

3. Call“Lord, save ME!”

Romans 10:13 says:

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Do you acknowledge that you are a sinner and believe that Jesus died for YOU?

Then call on the Lord Jesus now!

“Dear God, be merciful to me, a sinner. I believe You died for my sin and rose from the dead. Jesus, I turn from my sin and trust You as my personal Savior. Thank you for rescuing me and giving me the gift of eternal life. In Jesus name, Amen.”

If you prayed that prayer, you now have a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and He promises, “I will never leave thee nor forsake thee.”

Begin To Grow

Praise the Lord for your decision to trust Christ as Saviour!

Friend, you have a new life! You are a new creature in God's sight! You have a new eternal destiny and a new Heavenly Father! He wants you to grow in faith, day by day-learning more of His love, His Word, and His plan for your life.

We would encourage you to purchase a Bible, begin reading it, and ask the Lord help you obey His Word!

In Acts 2, the people who trusted Christ assembled together (as a church) to learn the Bible and encourage each other.
